This is Pastor Appreciation Month:
This celebration was established in 1992 with the mission of uplifting and encouraging pastors, missionaries and religious workers. And, in 2020, they could probably use a little more encouragement than normal. We know appreciation is often thought of but not always expressed in tangible ways. How many times have we heard, if you love someone, then let them know. Say it, share it, express it, and don’t assume they get tired or bored of hearing it… because it never does. Here are some non-momentary ways to express your thanks:
- handwritten note
- encouraging text message/video
- social post
- make something
- Pinterest has some great ideas too
The point is to make it intentional. We hope you will take the next few weeks to do something a little extra to show to our Senior leader, Pastor John Sotero.
