NEXT STEPS
CONNECT, GROW & SERVEI WANT TO BELONG
If you are new, or still feel new to church, want to know more about membership, or just know how to belong, then this class is for you. You will be able to gel and learn together as a group and connect with our Lead Pastor as he goes though a step by step process of growing in spiritual discipleship. You will also have the opportunity to take a spiritual gifts test along with a personality assessment to understand how God has wired and created you uniquely for your home, work, and at Church.
I WANT TO GROW
This next step may seem the slowest. Its like pedaling uphill. Until you look back and see how far you have come. This will be an engaging time of learning, developing leadership skills to lead ourselves first so we can lead others. This requires our willingness to come to place of choice. To choose to grow because we want to grow and become the very best that God has designed us to be. Can’t wait to grow with you on this journey together!
I WANT TO CONNECT
The Next Steps to Connect will be Sunday May 6, 2017 after Church. All of us want to belong, connect, grow, and serve. Its a healthy progression as we mature grow spiritually in knowledge and in action.
Pastor John will be leading this next step in a fun and systematic teaching that will be interactive and informative. He will give you practical steps to go into this next step to prepare you for the next, and the next, and so on.
This will class will be around 60-75 minutes in length. Child-care is provided. Please Let us know if you will be needing child-care at the signups in the front hall lobby.
I WANT TO SERVE
We serve because Jesus first served us and set an example out of love. Jesus was Love. This next step is to be reminded that we serve out of an outflow of our love for Jesus. We are reminded of what He has done for us so we want to serve others in that same likeness. Its not out of our own needs but it is out of a desire to be obedient to our heavenly Father because we want to be imitators of Him. We will learn what it means to be a servant, to lead by example, love by example, and what this will look like as we love others.
